Well, today is the day that the boys and I leave for Texas. We have nice, non-stop flight so it should go fairly smoothly. I still haven't packed yet, and I still haven't gone to the store to get the little one some pants (he has outgrown all his pants and only wears shorts now), so I am going to be frantic trying to get all the things done that I need to complete (and yet I am taking the time to sit and write this blog. It makes a lot of sense, doesn't it?).

I'm not really into flying, so I will be glad to get this over with. The boys seem to like it, though. And if they don't, there's always benadryl. (ha ha ha I'm not kidding)

We'll be leaving this afternoon, and I'll check in to let you guys know that we got there safely.

BTW -- In case anyone is wondering, I'm not moving to Texas yet. That's a few months off . . . this is just a little two week thing.

Thanks, BlueDev. Merry Christmas to you, too.

Have a good flight, and take something warm, it's really freakin' cold in the mornings here right now. (although it's supposed to warm up this weekend.) Give us a holler every once in a while. (grins, I love when people I like get back to Texas)

(Do I drop the Wahine now?)

my advice is NEVER drop a wahine...or the chalupa.

travel safely and hasslefree mz w.  enjoy your family and the holidays.

(based on my experience, it's not a good idea to travel wearing your xmas pageant shepherd or joseph costume; the few minutes you save not having to change upon arrival wont offset the hours youll spend in some lop's office explaining the sandals, robe and beard to the tsa.)
