This is boring, and you don't have to read it, haha

Ok, so I didn't really plan to start this today, so I really overshot on the calories. And I'm not proud of the lack of fresh fruits and veggies in my diet, but I haven't died yet, so it can't be too bad.

Breakfast:

5 cups of coffee with 5 tsps.creamer and 2 tsps. Splenda/cup: 300 cal
1 and 1/2 c. cubed, fried potatoes (not proud, but there's a good reason for it!): 200 cal
3 tbsps. ketchup: 48 cal

Lunch:

Sandwich with 2 slices white bread, 2 slices thin deli Swiss cheese, and 1 tsp. spicy brown mustard: 280 cal
2 RC colas: 220 cal

Snack:

1 serving (11) Lays Ruffles Chips: 150 cal

Supper:

Small baked potato with 1 tsp. butter: 156 cal
Ear of corn: 120 cal

And I've had about 5 glasses of water today.

Total Calories: 1,474

I went over my target calories by 274, but still fell nearly 800 cal short of weight maintenance calories, so I'm happy.

And yeah, I need to do something about the coffee/soda situation. It's killing me.

From the Obiturary in Todays Jerusalem Post....

We are sad to report the death of Manopeace. He died of a coffee and cholesterol intake unheard of in human diets. His death has been ruled as a suicide. Near his body a printed out sheet of recommended meals was found, something he had found on the Internet.
A private service will be held at JoeUser.Com... all are invited to attend.

Funny.

It's right before payday, and I ate what I had.

Haha. We have plenty of meat. I don't eat meat, though.

Adrian had breakfast burritos on garlic tortillas, with scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and salsa plus an RC cola in the morning. For lunch he had a sandwich on white bread with swiss and American cheeses, and two layers of ham and an Asian chicken and veggie frozen dinner. And two RC colas. For supper he had pork ribs glazed with a homemade sauce, baked potato with butter, cheese, and bacon bits, and corn on the cob, and an RC cola. And he snacked on chips and some homemade brownies.

Unfortunately for me, I'm a picky eater, and I don't like many of those things. I coulda thrown some tomato on my sandwich, but I didn't.

Have you considered protein drinks? They are a great alternative to not eating meat and help keep up your muscle mass...which is the besty thing for burning calories and fat stores(muscles I mean). Some are sweetened with Splenda now, so they are pretty good. And you will feel FULL for hours.

Just a thought.

I do get a fair amount of protein from the small amount of meat I do eat as well as from various other sources, but I suppose having those drinks on hand wouldn't hurt. Thanks for the tip.

Cool. Splenda is good stuff. Hehe.
