My apologies for taking so long posting this, but I have been crazy busy.

Isabella Nohealani (pronounced No Hay Ah Lani, it means "beautiful girl from heaven") *Our Last Name* was born on Wednesday, November 29th at 3:43 am.  She weighed 8 lbs and 7.9 oz and was 20 and 3/4 inches long.  She has blondish-black hair (crazy, I know!) and blue eyes (for now).

I had a doctor's appt on the 27th (3 days overdue), and my doctor decided to induce me so that Adrian would be here for the birth.  The birthing suites at the hospital are wonderful, and my mom and Adrian both watched little miss Isabella enter the world.  The boys were in the room, just a few feet away, but they slept through the whole thing!

She's healthy as can be and has the sweetest disposition.  Her brothers love her.  Orian likes to shove toys in her face (haha) and Xavier says she's the most beautiful baby in the world.  Daddy is crazy about her and his leaving was so hard.  He told her to stay little, but he's going to come back home to a rambunctious 7 month old.

She also has the most adorable little "monkey toes" I've ever seen.

I also wanted to say thank you to everyone who checked in on me (thanks, Sabrina and Donna!) and everyone who sent gifts.  You guys are wonderful.  InBloom and UDigIt sent an incredible package filled with gifts for Isabella AND for the boys.  The outfits are adorable, and I will post pictures of baby girl in them in the near future.  The boys are having so much fun with the remote control car (they like making obstacle courses for it) and they love the Scooby Doo wipe-off coloring books.  It was such a thoughtful package.  Thank you so much.  Thanks also to Sabrina.  The t-shirts arrived just before Adrian had to leave, so he got to see them, and he thought they were hilarious!  What a perfect, awesome gift.  Photos of Isabella in her bad ass shirts are also forthcoming.  Thanks to Joe, too, for the card and gift.  I'm sorry it didn't make it, but I soooo appreciate the thought.  I am overwhelmed by how giving and caring so many of my friends at Joeuser are.  Thank you.

Baby girl needs a diaper change and a snack, so I'll have to wrap this up, but here are some photos:

Congrats Bradie! She is beautiful (Griffins gonna be stoked (do Americans say stoked?) when sees how good looking his future wife is!).

It's great Adrian was there to see it. I predicted that you would be induced so it is nice to see my pyschic powers are still intact

I've gotta see this "blondish black" hair the paradox is making my brain explode.

I might send a little something once I get Chrissie presents out of the way.

Love to you and your family.

me too!  I'm just a little overwhelmed right now with Christmas stuff and my little baby girl.  You are in my thoughts though Brandie (that is in what brain I have left ).  I'm sure your Christmas will be great no matter what now that you have the best present ever.  We had Alex, who just turned 10, on 11/30 and I don't remember anything about that Christmas other than how wonderful it was to have that little bundle.

There are 2 things in this world, that make me almost human again: 1) Two people getting married for the first time, and 2) The birth of fresh innocent human baby.

Thanks TW, for taking me down a notch.

Congatulations to you and yours!

I'm so jealous! She is beautiful.

Congratulations!

Edit: I meant to tell you how much I love her name. It is so beautiful.

Congrats Tex. Sorry I'm late to the party here. She is quite precious--I can't wait to read blogs about her antics.

I'm sorry to hear that Adrian had to go back so quickly after the birth--what a bummer!

Congratulations to you and your husband, she is really a pretty little baby (some can be so ugly looking hehehe)
and her middle name is pretty too. Enjoy. Glad you are all well and healthy.

FS:
I'm so glad Adrian was there for the birth. That makes it so much better for you both! And she is so beautiful! You guys look so good!

Thanks! It was really special. And she's definitely a daddy's girl. She's going to be SO spoiled when he gets home!

Locamama:
Congratulations on your sweet baby girl! She's adorable.

Thanks.

Maso:
She looks so... fresh

Doesn't she? Newborns are just such incredible creatures. Her skin is the softest thing I've ever touched.

I have to ask: did you get the package Toni and I sent? Please let me know if you didn't and I'll chase it up from here.

No, but I haven't checked the mail in a few days (sad, I know!). I'll check it in a bit and let you know. You guys are too sweet. Thanks.

Dodyas:
Oh how adorable! Congratulations!

Thank you.

Thanks. Hehe. I think she's beautiful, but I've got mommy goggles! How are your sister and little Griffin doing? I know you've told me her due date, but for some reason I can't remember.

I predicted that you would be induced so it is nice to see my pyschic powers are still intact

Hahahahaha...good work. Any other predictions?

I've gotta see this "blondish black" hair the paradox is making my brain explode.

LOL. Adrian actually had blonde hair as a child, but it still seems odd for me to give birth to a light-haired child! I'll have to post a good pic of her hair. It's really kind of light in the front and then gets darker in the back.

She also has a baby mullet. It's awesome. Business in the front, party in the back. Hehe.

Love to you and your family.

Thanks, Kenny.

LW:
I was wondering if something was wrong because it took you so long to post an announcement here, but I had hoped it was just due to the fact that you were devoting all your time to Adrian while he was here. Glad to hear you're fine now.

We were actually able to get out of the hospital on time (they knew we didn't have much time before Adrian had to leave), and I'm great now. I could share my exciting details, but it's kind of ucky!

I'd love to hear your voice...so don't be shy about picking up the phone, little sis. You know I have broad (and absorbent!) shoulders.

Thanks, Sabrina. I appreciate it.

Jill:
I'm sure your Christmas will be great no matter what now that you have the best present ever. We had Alex, who just turned 10, on 11/30 and I don't remember anything about that Christmas other than how wonderful it was to have that little bundle.

It's super depressing not having Adrian here, but the boys and Isabella will definitely distract me. I can't wait until Christmas next year...Adrian will be home and Isabella will be big enough to really tear into things!

Xythe:
Thanks TW, for taking me down a notch.

Congatulations to you and yours!

Thanks for the kind words.

Thanks! Your little ones will be making their grand entrance in the not-too-distant future, won't they? I'm so excited for you and your wife. Your babies are lucky to have such great parents.

Edit: I meant to tell you how much I love her name. It is so beautiful.

Thank you.

Thanks! I bought a snuggli carrier today so now I can hold her and actually do things...I can actually type now. More Isabella (and the boys!) blogs are sure to come.

BTW, before Adrian left he asked me to be sure to thank you again for the care packages. He was really tickled.

I'm sorry to hear that Adrian had to go back so quickly after the birth--what a bummer!

It was indescribably painful...although much moreso for him, I'm sure. Heh, but what can you do?

Jennifer:

Congrats and best wishes to you all.

Thanks. You all are just so kind. I appreciate the outpouring of well wishes and congratulations.

InBloom:
And thanks to LW for sending it along.

She's sincerely a precious human being.

Oh wow! She is just beautiful. I'm so glad that her daddy was there to see her make her grand entrance and that you all got to have a few days at home as a family.

Her little sweater is sitting on my shelf, waiting to be sewn up. I had the best of intentions, but ....well, things happened, and I didn't get it in the mail yet. I'm so sorry, and I hope you can forgive me. I'll get it sewn up and sent out next week.

Congratulations again on your lil' n00b.

How are your sister and little Griffin doing? I know you've told me her due date, but for some reason I can't remember.

He is due March 9th. She's doing very well so far (she's now over 6 months). Griffin is kicking and doing all sorts of acrobatics.

Hahahahaha...good work. Any other predictions?

Her first word will be either "Momma" or "Humuhumunukunukuapua'a" (or however you spell it) !

Sure am glad to hear that Adrian was home that that all went relatively well. She's beautiful, Brandie (as are you, in all your mommy bliss!). Congratulations!

Glad he likes them. We just sent out a christmas one this morning--I'm hoping it will make it there with plenty of time. We ended up getting some cool christmas stuff (but incase he reads your blog, I won't say what so that it's a surprise!). As I wrote in a note to him, I know it can't make up for being away from home for the holiday, but hopefully it will provide a little bit of christmas cheer.

Anyway, hope you, the boys and the baby Bella are all doing well.
