I got my first haircut in months this morning. Nothing major...3 inches trimmed off, some layering, and some new side swept bangs. Adrian was tickled (he'd warned me not to come home with a purple mohawk, hehe), and I'm pretty happy with it. Especially for 15 bucks (plus tip).

So, the kids are home from school now. I let them know, while we were working on their homework, that I had bought groceries this morning (which makes them very, very happy!). Orian finished up his work, and was milling around, pestering his brother.

He's asked me repeatedly for cereal (we have some new stuff he can't wait to get his hands...er...mouth on), but I've told him no because we're not having homework and cereal on the table together.

So I glance in the mirror, face my precious little babies, fluff my hair, and ask them..."Notice anything about me?"

My little one looks at me, dead serious, and says, "You're making me some cereal?"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...he's lucky he's cute enough to get away with being so self-centered, hehe.

That boy got skills! To be truthful, I might have said that same thing to Amanda the other night, except it wasn't cereal but mac and cheese. I think that he deserves a bowl with extra marshmallows for that comment, don't you! : )

Hahahaha... Oh, Tex, your kids are just so priceless (my mother used to say just because we were considered priceless didn't mean we couldn't be broken)

Give the boys a few years and they won't be able to tear there eyes away from girls. By then, all you'll be concerned about is making sure they got their cereal.
