I had my 4D sonogram today. It was so fun!

Sucker that I am, I ended up buying the biggest package, but now I have a DVD of the session to send to my husband.

She is such a pretty baby! She definitely has her daddy's full lips!

It is 100% confirmed that she IS a girl. Up close and personal. Hehe.

She was so funny during the session. She's all scrunched up in there, with her head down in position and her feet curled up over her head.

She smiled, put her thumb in her mouth, and played with her feet. She kept grabbing her feet and holding them. It was precious.

She's nice and chubby and healthy. I could even see the dimples in her little hands. The boys were mesmerized.

Isabella holding her face in her hand (and her little foot in the other hand!):

You can even count her little toes:

Something must have been funny:

She's a sleepy baby:

Happy Isabella with her great big Angelina Jolie lips:

I can't wait to meet her!

I can't believe I'm just now catching this! This is totally amazing! (And you must be totally rich   )

I waaaaant one too!!!!

Hmmm...maybe I'll call up my mom and sweet-talk her out of some cash    It would cost us about $1000 considering we'll have to drive out of state to get it done, stay overnight, then drive back. But it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Sorry I'm talking about myself, heh.

Those are amazing pictures Tex!

I got the largest package and it was less than $200. So, nope, totally not rich. Hehe.

Ouch! I thought it was definitely worth the price for us, but I don't know if I'd have spent a grand on it. It IS pretty special though!

(And hey, you could find out for sure what you're having!)

Those are amazing pictures Tex!

Thanks.

(And no worries. You can talk about yourself on my threads all you want. )

Thanks! I kinda feel sorry for her, haha. Apparently she really likes those feet, though!

I'm so jealous! We didn't get the 3D pics. We just had the normal ultrasound.

She looks beautiful (no surprise there).

Best wishes.

This WOW! What magnificent pics, technology has really gone forward in leaps and bounds!

You must be so excited seeing her like this. In the one pic it looks like she is yelling her head off! Thanks for sharing these.

This is sooooo cool!!

We have been to so many traditional ultrasounds I can tell who is who before the tech tells us. I think I could just take her place and work that machine. I answer my wife's questions before the tech most of the time.

I really wish we had gotten to do the 3D ultrasound but then I'm kinda glad we didn't. There was no medical reason to do it and that makes it perfectly ok with me. Plus, I'm sure I'd see somebody's foot in somebody else's face in almost all of the pictures. They all start jockeying for position as soon as the ultrasound starts.

I really didn't think I was going to be able to get one, either...initially the place required the OB's signature, and my hospital won't allow its doctors to sign off on them for liability reasons.

They changed it, though, and now you only have to be under the care of a physician...you don't have to have them sign off on it. Yipee!

She looks beautiful (no surprise there).

Best wishes.

Thanks. I can't wait to meet her.

Thanks. Isn't it just incredible? It seems like it's made things more "real" for the boys, too. They talk about Isabella all the time.

I really am amazed. I just can't get over how I can see the dimples in her little hands. I'm glad she's getting chubby already!

In the one pic it looks like she is yelling her head off!

LOL. I hope that's not what I can expect from her after she's born. Haha.

Well, the one I had done was strictly for entertainment purposes. It wasn't covered by insurance. It was worth it to me, but I don't get many u/s, so I wouldn't have gotten another chance to see her.

Plus, I'm sure I'd see somebody's foot in somebody else's face in almost all of the pictures. They all start jockeying for position as soon as the ultrasound starts.

LOL. How cute. I'll bet they are going to be so fun. Three little monkeys all at once! I'm so excited for you and your wife.
